Workshops

For all participants, and especially for those who have no special desire to play chamber music, there are exciting afternoon workshops on offer.

In the Jazz workshop pieces are chosen which provide everyone with a chance to improvise during a performance. This helps to build confidence in your own playing and to get to know the ¨language¨ of jazz.

The workshop composing with instruments differs from year to year. There is improvisation on your own instrument as well as work on other types of instrument. By using a wide range of sounds it is possible to tell a story or explore a theme. By working together as a team, the workshop leader and the participants consider ideas and musical material for a final concert with a difference!
